Prop and reduction gear, believed to be from Sea Fury. This item is exhibited outside the Maritime Museum in Bembridge. A sign in the window attributes the prop to a Sea Fury. There are reports that a number of aircraft declared surplus to requirements ( inc. Sea Furies) were bulldozed off the flight deck of a carrier in Sandown bay shortly after the war. Could this be from one of them?
